The PLC optical splitter comes equipped with a planar waveguide optical splitter. It is an integrated waveguide optical power splitter that is based on quartz substrate. The device is currently available in 1×N and 2×N types.The 1×N and 2×N splitters are designed to evenly input optical signals from a single or double inlet to multiple exits. They are also designed to do the same work backwards to import multiple optical signals into single or double optical fibers. There are currently four types of these devices available including ABS box splitter, Cassette PLC Splitter, Mini Steel Tube PLC splitter, and Bare Fiber PLC Splitter.
